College Track Application

Thank you for your interest in applying to College Track!

College Track is a free, comprehensive 10-year program that supports students from underserved communities to become the first in their family to earn a bachelor’s degree. College Track operates 13 sites across the country. Every fall semester, each site accepts a class of 60-75 eligible 9th graders to join our program. Be sure to select the site closest to you when completing the application.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for College Track, a student must:

  1. Be in the 9th grade this Semester
  2. Be available to attend their local College Track site in person once or twice a week
  3. Meet at least one, or both, of the following criteria:
    • Student is First-Generation: Neither parent has earned a bachelor's degree in the U.S.
    • Student is from an Underserved Household: Family income is at or below 275% of the federal poverty level (based on income and household size)
  4. Be committed to earning a bachelor's degree

Completing the Application Form The form has two (2) parts:
Part 1. Student Application
This part asks for the student's information, including contact and demographic details, school, and college aspirations.

Part 2. Parent/Guardian Application
This part asks for the parent/guardian's information, including contact information, education background, household size and income.
You may choose to 1) complete Parts 1 & 2 of the form now OR 2) complete Part 1 now and have Part 2 sent to the parent/guardian. Be sure to follow up with the parent/guardian if Part 2 of the form is sent to them.
To complete both Parts 1 and 2 now, please have the following ready:
  • Contact Information: Phone number & email address for the student and parent/guardian.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Any activities or programs the student intends to or is participating in outside of College Track.
  • Household income and size: The total income earned by all people living in the house with the student. For example: you (student), mom, dad, sister, brother are counted as a household size of 5.
  • Parent Education Background: Whether a parent has earned a 4-year degree from a college or university in the U.S.
To complete Part 1 now and send part 2 to your parent/guardian, please have the following ready:
  • Contact Information: Phone number & email address for the student and parent/guardian
  • Extracurricular Activities: Any activities or programs the student intends to or is participating in outside of College Track.
